The Foundation has provided an invaluable support system and a lot of education for our family since our diagnosis in June 2007. This Foundation of is largely driven by committed parents who've "been there" and the funding that fuels it's growth is all given by individuals who want to make a difference. Much of the educational information on the site - and all of the posts on the message board - comes from the Foundation’s membership base of affected families. This Foundation belongs to all of us. And it’s up to us to ensure it grows and reaches more future families who needs these resources and support we've had when receiving a diagnosis, coping with a loss, supporting a loved one, or raising a child with Trisomy 18.. We want to help ensure these resources are available for the next family who needs them, and do our part to further the mission of the organization.
